9/11 inspired Linda to produce her final piece completing her triptych of healing. This piece, titled "Let us not forget", Linda Arnold was again compelled to paint an inspirational piece after the September 11th World Trade Center disaster. Seven roses (the New York state flower) represent the seven continents from which people lost their lives in the seven buildings of the World Trade Centers. The American Flag stands for the Pentagon and the passengers killed aboard the airplanes. The raindrops on the roses show the shared tears of so many and the two trees are reminiscent of the WTC twin towers. The original was personally presented by Ms. Arnold, accompanied by families of Columbine survivors, to Station No. 4 in Mid-Manhattan. It now hangs in the Firefighters Training Academy in Brooklyn, New York.
